Teen Car Burglar Caught in the Act, Evesham Police Say

A car burglar was caught in the act early Wednesday morning, with his pockets and a bag stuffed with stolen items, Evesham Police said.

Gian Cacciavillano, 18, of Marlton, was spotted walking along Willow Bend Road through the Brush Hollow Development just before 5 a.m., with the bag in hand, police said.

An officer patrolling the area stopped Cacciavillano, police said, and found the stolen property on the teen before arresting him. Cacciavillano had broken into several vehicles nearby, police said.

The teen faces three county of third-degree burglary and three counts of fourth-degree theft, and was lodged in the Burlington County Jail in default of $75,000 bail.

Police are asking for residents of Brush Hollow to check for missing items, as owners of several pieces of stolen property couldn’t immediately be determined.
