Mobile Home Destroyed in Fire

The quick-moving blaze started around noon in the Cherry Hill Mobile Home Park off Farrell Avenue.

A fire tore through a home in the Cherry Hill Mobile Home Park early Wednesday afternoon, leaving a family homeless.

The fire, which a maintenance worker said started in a back bedroom, wrecked much of the home and continued to smolder nearly an hour after firefighters first responded just after noon.

No one was hurt in the fire, authorities said. The Red Cross is providing emergency assistance and support to two adults and two children affected by the blaze.

The fire was likely electrical, fire officials said.
