Camden Man Steals 2 Cars from Same Business, Police Say

Officers caught him the day after the first theft, police said.

A Camden man who stole a van from Cherry Hill Transmission on Route 38 Friday later admitted to stealing another car from the business and now faces multiple charges, Cherry Hill Police said.

Alfonso F. Torres, of the 400 block of Haddon Avenue, was caught Friday morning not long after stealing the van from the repair shop just after 10 a.m., police said.

When in custody, Torres confessed to stealing another car from the same business the day before, police said.
