Burglars Strike 2 Homes in Cherry Hill, Police Say

The incidents happened early last week, according to police.

Burglars hit homes on opposite ends of the township last week, stealing cash and jewelry in both incidents, Cherry Hill Police said.

Officers were called out to homes in the 900 block of New York Avenue and the 900 block of Cropwell Road Tuesday for a pair of daytime burglaries, police said.

In the New York Avenue incident, burglars forced their way in a door and stole cash and jewelry from the home some time between 9:10 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, police said.

In the Cropwell Avenue incident, burglars were able to enter the home between 9:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. the previous day, stealing cash, jewelry and credit cards, police said.

Both burglaries are under investigation.
