Alleged Movie Theater Purse Thieves Sought by Police

Evesham Township Police are asking for the public’s help in trying to identify two men and a woman who they say stole a woman’s purse at the AMC 8 in Marlton.

The three suspects snuck into the movie theater via a side entrance around 3:15 p.m. on Nov. 19, police said, then searched individual theaters looking for potential victims.

One of the men was spotted on surveillance heading into the theater where the victim sat, police said, and stayed inside for several minutes before he and the two others took off out the same side door.
