This is news? Even if it were, the game was yesterday and over by mid-afternoon. We lost yet thisRead More still appears in the main news column. Doesn't anybody monitor this site and try to keep it timely? One thing's for sure, if I want to know what the weather was last week I can probably find it in breaking news on Patch.

Truthfully, watching paint dry is probably more exciting
Fans waiting for a photo pop with Manning.
Frank forkman June 20, 2014 at 10:38 am
Who wants to win that in the 1st place !?!
Jill June 21, 2014 at 07:33 am
Can't wait to see this commercial. It will probably feature Eli Manning walking into a DunkinRead More Donuts, and the contest winner saying something like, "Hey, look! It's Eli Manning of the NY Giants! He likes Dunkin Donuts too."
Bobbi June 21, 2014 at 01:14 pm
Eli should be more concerned about becoming more accurate with his throwing arm. No moreRead More interceptions Eli, please!
Ed and Michelle Coyle June 10, 2014 at 12:25 pm
Not being a basketball fan, maybe I don't understand. Why can't they practice at the Wells FargoRead More Center?
Mel Sharples June 10, 2014 at 01:56 pm
We should have offered $76.76M, which probably would've gotten the deal done and saved the taxpayersRead More $5.4M. But seriously, I don't think government has a role in building homes and facilities for corporations, that money should've gone to infrastructure. But it's better than a casino. Maybe this is some attempt at CC to parrot Ricky Perry's inane giveaways to businesses who'd already decided to move to TX (i.e. Honda) so he can take credit.

76ers owners own the Devils. Possibly related to some deal up north?

Parents ruin sports..
sportsnut July 14, 2014 at 07:39 am
Alan I agree. Parents coach to get their kids and kids friends a leg up. Kids are choosen too basedRead More on parents and kids being friends. Take AAU and All-Stars and positions in each sport. Parents coach because they want their kid in prime positions, kids are friends with certain kids or because a family does not like someone but the kid has talent not playing. You need "out of area" coaches to come and determine if a kid is "that good" to be at the next level not "locals" whom coach because that is the only way the kid will get playing time.
CowDung July 23, 2014 at 10:20 am
sportsnut: Seems like a perfect opportunity for you to get involved in coaching... If nothingRead More else, becoming a coach will give you a voice in the league to lobby for equal playing time for all kids, and rotation of positions--particularly at the lower levels.

She's crazier than he is....they deserve each other. They'll find her dead some day.
Mel Sharples April 1, 2014 at 07:56 am
Oh, come now. Wait a few months. The Ravens - a corporation largely dependent on the survival andRead More acquittal of Ray Rice - will commission an "independent" investigation to find out what really happened. And the final report will show, shockingly, that Ray did nothing wrong. That he was somehow the victim or that there were circumstances beyond his control. And if that sham worked for Christie, why won't it work for Ray?
EaglesFan856 April 6, 2014 at 12:16 pm
Its crazy Eagles get such a bag rep for cutting Jackson but not one cares about the Ravens keepingRead More this guy!
Lois Giovacchini March 30, 2014 at 07:55 am
He was a playmaker and the eagles need that.
John March 31, 2014 at 12:40 pm
So was Vick but they let him go to the Jets....
Robert Braun March 31, 2014 at 03:58 pm
Vick has been hurt the last two years and has yet to finish the season with a winning percentage. HeRead More is lucky that he got that type of money.

Oh boy, let's make some news !!
Pundit February 21, 2014 at 07:52 am
What a shame for those kids. It was not an African-American dummy - it did not even have a face. ItRead More was a standard issue wrestling dummy covered in dark leather that is used all over the USA. Cripes, if the dummy was covered in pink leather would it be seen as a female or gay? What about green leather would it be seen as a turtle? Red leather an Indian? Yellow leather Asian? Purple leather Martian? The real racists are the ones crying race. They are harassing these kids because they are white.
Marcus Lively February 21, 2014 at 06:52 pm
Pundit, please understand that the image of a dummy, particularly a black dummy, resonates in a veryRead More negative way regardless of intent. The fact that the 2 kids wore pointed hoods also made it clear that this was no coincidence. Yes the dummy did not have a face or a skin color, however this image of a lynching is a very disturbing image that is unacceptable in society today. We have no right to tell a minority group what is and is not offensive, especially when it is clear what this picture was portraying.

SuzieN February 3, 2014 at 04:52 pm
Actually, it was the fault of the NFL that resulted in the long wait at the train station. ThereRead More were ridiculous rules and restrictions on parking.

"Impeach Christie..."
paul smith February 5, 2014 at 05:22 pm
While the NFl has some culpability, and most of the rail tickets were bought on gameday, NJT blewRead More it. No buses until an hour after the game? Ridiculous. You have Lombardi and No Bergen park and rides where buses could have been stacked as a contingency. There was no contingency. Didnt NJT imagine some folks may leave early?
S_O_G February 2, 2014 at 06:11 pm
It is fine. My only complaint is that they took my double decker trains for the super bowl and IRead More had to be crowded all week in the regular cars. I think NJT runs great most of the time, and not sure where people think they can get a better deal then less than $10/day round trip ($250, probably 125 on pre tax dollars, and 22 work days in a month). Take a car service if you do not like it
Dan Reynolds February 2, 2014 at 07:52 pm
http://deadspin.com/scenes-from-the-super-bowl-transit-nightmare-1514479871/@alissawalker Nope, itsRead More not..
Deantown February 3, 2014 at 06:40 am
Don't know where S_O_G pays his fare, but 1) the roundtrip fare to Manhattan from Summit is $19.50Read More per day; 2) the monthly cost is $273; and 3) Congress effective Jan. 1 lowered the monthly commuter tax benefit to $130 from $245 (while raising the parking benefit to $250 per month from $245).

I had enough Greg Murphy (Murph) segments last season. He is terrible and his appearances areRead More pointless most of the time. At least get an attractive woman in his place if I'm going to be interrupted every other inning with an update on what color golf shirts the announcers are wearing. At least Sarge will actually criticize team strategy once in awhile unlike the ass kissing team of McCarthy and "Murph". Long gone are the glory days of Harry and Whitey in the booth.
