West’s Williams Will Suit Up Thursday in Comeback

The senior will take to the basketball court for the first time this season, after breaking his leg in the fall.

Rodney Williams is finally back.

With West idle on a snow day, Williams tweeted the news Wednesday afternoon with a simple #TheReturn.

“Just want to say I'm thankful for all the people who support me 24/7 and get the best out of me every day,” he wrote. “I'm truly blessed.”

Williams broke the 1,000-point mark last year, and will give the Lions a serious second scoring threat to go with junior Can Oztamur, who blew up for 34 points in the season opener against Camden Catholic and has been leading West, which stands at 6-5, since then.
