Scuderi Out Again as Camden Catholic Football Coach

Dennis Scuderi resigned because of work conflicts, school officials said.

Camden Catholic football coach Dennis Scuderi's second run is over after just one year, school officials said.

Scuderi has resigned his position due to job conflicts, school officials said, after a 4-6 campaign that was his return to the Cherry Hill school.

“We thank Dennis for his service to the school and dedication to the program during this season,” said interim president Mary Whipkey.

Scuderi previously had a seven-year run as head coach of the Irish, where he compiled a 53-21 record, before leaving in 2004 and taking over as head coach at St. Augustine Prep for six years. Scuderi also served as defensive coordinator at Absegami High School.

Camden Catholic's search for a new coach is already underway, school officials said.
