Cherry Hill Swim Teams Poised to Pursue Titles

The Cherry Hill West girls also begin their quest from an advantageous position, having earned the No. 2 seed in their field.

The Cherry Hill East boys earned the No. 1 seed in the NJSIAA South Jersey Group A tournament, according to nj.com. The Cougars host No. 8 Clearview in the first round. The winner faces the winner of the meet between No. 4 Cherokee and No. 5 Vineland.

All first round meets must be completed by Feb. 6.

Lenape earned the No. 2 seed and will host No. 7 Southern in the first round. No. 3 Egg Harbor Township and No. 6 Shawnee round out the field.

The Cherry Hill East girls earned the No. 1 seed as well, and will host No. 8 Southern in the first round, according to nj.com. The winner meets the winner of the first round matchup between No. 4 Clearview and No. 5 Egg Harbor Township.

Shawnee earned the No. 2 seed and will host No. 7 Eastern in the first round. No. 3 Cherokee and No. 6 Vineland round out the field.

The Cherry Hill West girls grabbed the No. 2 seed in the Central Group A tournament, according to nj.com. The Lions host No. 7 South Brunswick in the first round. The winner faces the winner of the first round meet between No. 3 West Windsor South and No. 6 West Windsor North.

The top seed went to Montgomery, which hosts No. 8 Freehold in the first round. No. 4 Toms River North and No. 5 Jackson round out the field.
