Cherry Hill in Junior American Legion Title Game

The Stealers beat Washington Township to get a rematch with Gibbsboro.

Two wins down, one to go.

The Cherry Hill Stealers got through the elimination-bracket final against Washington Township Tuesday afternoon and beat Gibbsboro in the late game for a shot at a state championship in the Junior American Legion tournament.

The 3-1 win over Washington Township put Cherry Hill into the tourney finals at Eastern's Joe Hartmann Field in a rematch against Gibbsboro, which beat the Stealers only 16 hours ago. The Stealers came through in that one, as well, winning 8-4.

The Stealers will need to win a second time against Gibbsboro to claim the championship, as Gibbsboro has just one loss in the tournament.

The deciding game will be played Wednesday at 6 p.m. at Eastern.
