Grant to Help Enhance Woodcrest School's Peaceful Garden and Learning Center

Cherry Hill Mayor Chuck Cahn will be on hand to help present the $2,914 grant to the school district.

Cherry Hill Mayor Chuck Cahn will join officials from Woodcrest Elementary School, the Cherry Hill School District and Recyclebank Wednesday afternoon at the school to present a $2,914 grant check that will be used to enhance the school’s Peaceful Garden and Learning Center. 

The grant is provided through the Recyclebank Green Schools program, which encourages community members to donate their Recyclebank Points to help schools fund environmental education projects. 

Cahn will join Superintendent Maureen Reusche, Woodcrest Elementary Principal Beth Anne Kob, members of the Woodcrest Elementary School Green Team, and representatives from Recyclebank for brief remarks, a check presentation and photo opportunities in the school’s Peaceful Garden.
