Cherry Hill Schools Delay Thursday's Opening 2 Hours

Programs across the district will be affected by the schedule change.

With the region still digging out from under more than a foot of snow, Cherry Hill schools will run a delayed schedule Wednesday, school officials announced.

The day will start two hours late for all grades, with the following schedule:

High schools: 9:30 a.m.—2:30 p.m.

Middle schools: 10 a.m.—3 p.m.

Elementary schools, grades 1-5: 11 a.m.—3:30 p.m.

Morning kindergarten will run from 11 a.m.—1:30 p.m.

Afternoon kindergarten will run as scheduled, 1 p.m.—3:30 p.m.

The Barclay morning half-day preschool session is canceled, and afternoon preschool will run from 1—3:30 p.m., while the full-day preschool program will run from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The morning social skills kindergarten program will run from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

All SACC sites will be open from 9—11 a.m.

Bus routes will begin two hours later than normal with the exception of afternoon kindergarten routes.

Regular lunches will be available as scheduled.
