Police Seek Tips in Exxon Gas Station Robbery
Surveillance footage shows two armed, masked men approaching on foot at the Camden City gas station on Admiral Wilson Blvd. just after midnight on Saturday.
Camden County Police are looking for help from the public in identifying a pair of men who robbed the Exxon gas station on Admiral Wilson Boulevard just after midnight on Saturday.
Police provided surveillance video that they say shows two masked men walking up to the station from the direction of 19th Street. One allegedly brandished a gun at the gas station attendant while the second allegedly took money from him.
The two men then fled back in the direction from which they'd come, police said, and drove away north on 19th Street in an unknown vehicle.

Gas stations near major highway interchanges have become ever-popular targets for robbers in recent months.
The two-man robbery of a Citgo station in the 1900 block of Admiral Wilson Boulevard in December resulted in a 43-year-old attendant being shot and robbed, just months after a Sunoco attendant was similarly shot in a gas station robbery on Route 130 in Collingswood.
In December 2012, a 44-year-old Blackwood man and his juvenile accomplice were charged in a string of incidents in Camden and Gloucester counties.
In the months prior, gas station robbers struck in Brooklawn, Collingswood and Maple Shade, as well as in West Deptford, where the Lukoil gas station on Crown Point Road and Red Bank Avenue was robbed by suspects who reportedly fled in a silver Dodge Stratus.
A Woodbury man was killed in a robbery-homicide at a Route 45 gas station in August, and in October, Haddon Township police began investigating an attempted robbery at the Route 130 Gulf gas station.
The most recent incident in the area occurred at the end of September, when three men beat an attendant at the Route 130 Valero in a robbery attempt. Police later charged three suspects in that incident.
