Police: Pregnant Pickpocketer Pinches Plastic at Panera

Cherry Hill Police are asking for the public's help in identifying two suspects in the alleged theft.

A pregnant woman and an accomplice stole a credit card from a woman's purse and used it to make fraudulent purchases earlier this month, Cherry Hill Police said, and now detectives are asking for the public's help in identifying the two women.

The women pickpocketed the card from a purse at Panera Bread at Market Place at Garden State Park around 6:30 p.m. Dec. 1, police said, and they didn't waste any time putting it to use. The pair only had to go a few hundred yards to Wegmans and Best Buy, both in the same shopping center, and immediately racked up nearly $1,000 in charges, according to police.

One of the suspects, a black woman roughly 25 to 30 years old and in the later stages of pregnancy, was wearing a long-sleeved white shirt and black pants, and had long, straight black hair. The other, a black woman believed to be between 35 and 45 years old, was wearing a black jacket and had on dark pants, and had bright red dyed hair.
