Mother Dies, Daughter in Critical Condition Following Pedestrian Accident

Serafina Fel, 63, and Anna Veksler, 38, were hit by a 1990 Ford Ranger while crossing Evesham Road at Kresson Road in Voorhees Sunday night.

One Cherry Hill woman is dead and the other is in extremely critical condition following a pedestrian accident Sunday night in Voorhees.

Serafina Fel, 63, and Anna Veksler, 38, were hit by a 1990 Ford Ranger while crossing Evesham Road at Kresson Road around 8:21 Sunday night. The mother and daughter were taken to Cooper Trauma Hospital.

Fel died as the result of her injuries at 9:08 p.m., and Veksler is listed in extremely critical condition and is being treated for life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the pickup truck, a Medford resident, stopped at the scene and gave a statement. It is believed distracted driving was a factor in the accident.

The investigation is ongoing. The driver remains unidentified at this time.
