Cherry Hill Man's Murder Is Camden's 58th of 2012, Ties All-Time High

Gregory Holder died Friday after being attacked a little more than a week before in the city's Cooper Lanning neighborhood.

A Cherry Hill man who died Friday afternoon has become Camden’s 58th murder victim of 2012.

Gregory Holder, 45, was attacked in the city’s Cooper Lanning neighborhood on Nov. 2, after police said an argument over a drug transaction turned violent and two men beat Holder.

Holder was found at Broadway and Berkley, and was hospitalized for his injuries, but eventually succumbed to them and was pronounced dead at about 12:30 p.m. Friday, Camden County Prosecutor’s Office spokesman Jason Laughlin said.
