Alleged Sam Ash Guitar Thief, Accomplice Arrested

Cherry Hill Police arrest Martin Cohen and accuse him of stealing high-end guitars from Sam Ash Music on Route 38.

A York, PA, man who allegedly smuggled high-end guitars in his pants and the National Park, NJ, woman who allegedly helped him pull off the thefts were arrested last week and charged in one incident at a local music store, Cherry Hill Police said.

Martin H. Cohen, of the 100 block of South Belvidere Avenue in York, who on at least two occasions at Sam Ash Music on Route 38, was charged with theft for the December incident.

His alleged accomplice, Dora Campbell, of the 200 block of Princeton Avenue in National Park, was also caught and charged with conspiracy to commit theft, police said. Campbell threw up a smoke screen, distracting a number of store employees while Cohen committed the thefts, police said.

Both Cohen and Campbell were served with complaints and released, police said.
