Stockton Elementary Choir in B101 Contest Tuesday

The choir has a shot to sing with the Philly Pops next week.

The Crescendo Choir at Richard Stockton Elementary School has a shot at greatness this holiday season, after scoring a semifinal spot in the B101 Christmas Choir competition—but it’ll need your vote to get there.

The choir’s performance of “Little Drummer Boy” will be broadcast around 7 a.m. Tuesday, with voting opening up after three choirs’ songs are played.

If the Crescendo Choir makes it through the semifinal round, they’ll have a shot at the finals—and a chance to perform with the Phily Pops next week.

Voting will open Tuesday morning and run through 9 p.m. on B101’s Christmas Choir Contest site, and the winner of Tuesday’s competition will be announced Wednesday morning.

Eight other choirs are competing—three groups are up Monday and three more will be up Wednesday, with the winners from each day having a chance in the finals.
