Mass Transit Update: What's Running After Sandy

Planes, trains and buses—find out how you can get around in the hurricane's wake.

PATCO

Trains are running on a modified schedule with slower speeds expected Wednesday. Trains will depart every 10 minutes between 7 and 9 a.m., and every 15 minutes between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Trains will run on a 10-minute departure schedule between 2 and 6 p.m., then switch back to every 15 minutes from 6 to 7:30 p.m., and move to every 24 minutes from 7:30 p.m. on.

NJ Transit

Only limited buses will run in the city of Camden Wednesday. All rail lines, including the Atlantic City Line and River Line, are shut down. PATCO is cross-honoring tickets and passes for the Atlantic City Line.

SEPTA

Regional rail lines reopen Wednesday, though there may be delays. The Market-Frankford Line and Broad Street line, as well as buses and trolleys, will run normally Wednesday, except for bus lines affected by road conditions.

Amtrak

There will be a modified Northeast Regional schedule between Newark, NJ, and southern stations. Water in the tunnels under the Hudson River has canceled all service into New York City. In addition, no Acela Express trains will run on the Northeast Corridor line.

Philadelphia International Airport

Normal airport operations resume Wednesday, but check with your airline to see if your flight is still as scheduled. Flight statuses are also available on Philly International's website and by calling 1-800-PHL-GATE (1-800-745-4283). SEPTA's airport line will resume service Wednesday.

Atlantic City Airport

The airport has reopened, but check with Spirit Airlines on your flight's status.

Newark International Airport

The airport will reopen at 7 a.m. Wednesday, but not all flights will operate. Passengers should check with their airlines before going to the airport.

JFK International Airport

The airport will reopen at 7 a.m. Wednesday, but not all flights will operate. Passengers should check with their airlines before going to the airport.

LaGuardia Airport

LaGuardia remains closed until further notice.
