Haddonfield-Berlin Road Construction Moves Into Cherry Hill Dec. 3

Concrete repairs are slated to begin Monday morning.

The reconstruction of Haddonfield-Berlin road moves into Cherry Hill to start next week, with concrete repairs slated to start around the Morris Drive intersection Monday morning, Camden County officials said Friday.

The Cherry Hill leg of construction follows a three-mile, $2.5 million project that rebuilt the road through its run in Voorhees, from Evesham to Laurel Oak roads.

“After finishing construction in the Voorhees section of Route 561, this high-volume roadway needs maintenance work on its concrete foundation in Cherry Hill,” said freeholder Ian Leonard, liaison to the Department of Public Works, in a release. “This project, like its larger counterpart in the adjacent section, will enhance the roadway and make driving easier on drivers throughout the county.”
