New Retailer Brings Sports Lifestyle Category to South Jersey

(Cherry Hill, NJ June 29, 2013)—Color Inc. is pleased to announce that ROSTER has opened its first South Jersey store at Cherry Hill Mall just in time for summer. ROSTER offers a wide selection of hometown sports lifestyle apparel, which combines fashion, lifestyle brands, and licensed team product together for the first time.

ROSTER carries leading sports lifestyle brands such as hometown favorite Mitchell & Ness, 47 Brand, Touch by Alyssa Milano, CCM, Old Time Hockey, Adidas, New Era, Majestic, Retro Brand, and more. It’s fashionable; high-quality merchandise features all of Philly’s favorite professional sports teams: Phillies, Flyers, Eagles, Sixers and Union.

“The sports lifestyle category is a new phenomenon, and ROSTER is the only store bringing this type of quality product to market,” said Al Shameklis, President. ”Our clothing items are fun, comfortable, and casual, and our retro designs offer a particularly unique look.”

While sports apparel has been historically geared toward the male audience, Roster carries a wide selection for women.

“Our women’s line is very important; it’s all about fashion, fabric and fit. A woman can express her team allegiance wearing something that’s made specifically for her,” said Shameklis. “And, for men, we offer something that’s a significant upgrade from your typical licensed apparel.”

Today, sports lifestyle manufacturers are looking to this category to add a new dimension to the traditional sports licensed market.

“Until now, most licensed product has been sold through your average sporting goods stores,” said Tom Emmons, Executive Vice President. “Today’s sports apparel merchandisers want to sell their more fashionable lines in upscale boutiques. That’s where ROSTER comes in, its America’s first Sports Lifestyle store”

While this is the first ROSTER store in New Jersey, ROSTER opened at the Philadelphia International Airport (B/C Connector) and has 7 locations in the Boston area.

“We’re a company with a passion for retail, and we’re thrilled to opening at the Cherry Hill Mall!” said Shameklis.
