Details: Stewart M. Weintraub, a shareholder in the Philadelphia office of Chamberlain Hrdlicka, will help lead advanced state and local tax seminars co-sponsored by the American Bar Association (ABA) Tax Section and the Institute for Professionals in Taxation (IPT). Weintraub is the overall chair of the ABA/IPT Advanced Seminars.
Weintraub will moderate “When to Settle – Audit Strategies to Avoid Litigation” and “Payments in Lieu of Taxes by Nonprofit Organizations: Fiscal and Political Issues.” He also will take part in a roundtable discussing multi-state property tax updates in several key states including California, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Minnesota, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Texas, and the impact of these developments in other states.
