Republic Bank Expanding to Cherry Hill

The bank will be Republic's third South Jersey location.

Philadelphia-based Republic Bank is expanding in South Jersey, and will add a location on Route 70 in Cherry Hill later this year, bank officials announced Thursday.

Along with the new Cherry Hill branch, Republic is shifting its Voorhees location to a new spot at White Horse and Laurel Oak roads; both locations will use a new prototype bank building, officials said.

"While Republic will be expanding and adding new stores throughout metro Philadelphia, southern New Jersey will be our primary market for new stores,” said Harry Madonna, the bank’s chairman and CEO. “We look forward to expanding our footprint in the South Jersey and metro Philadelphia communities by providing premier products, services, and conveniences together with outstanding customer service."

Republic’s Cherry Hill bank will be the third location in South Jersey for the company, which plans to open both the Route 70 location and relocated Voorhees branch some time this fall.

Republic’s other South Jersey branch is in Haddonfield; the bank also operates locations in six cities in southeastern Pennsylvania.
