Weekly Concerts Return to Barclay Farmstead July 1

"Music Under the Stars" offers free outdoor concerts every Tuesday in July.

Historic Barclay Farmstead will be home to five weeks of free entertainment beginning July 1, according to a post on the township's website.

The "Music Under the Stars" outdoor concert series will give music fans of all ages a front-row seat to both exciting headliners and up-and-coming opening acts, beginning at 6:30 p.m. every Tuesday on the grounds of the historic farmstead.

There will be free guided tours of the farmhouse and on-site dinner options each week.

“Music Under the Stars is a unique opportunity for residents to put on their dancing shoes and enjoy great live entertainment to the backdrop of a beautiful summer night,” Cherry Hill Mayor Chuck Cahn said. “Bring your blanket, a chair, and even a picnic dinner, but with this year’s lineup, don’t expect to spend much time in your seat!”

The schedule is as follows:

• July 1: Don’t Call Me Francis!
Kick off the summer with this high-energy, get-up-and-jam type of band. You’ll be dancing in no time!
• July 8: The Kootz
Enjoy Classic Rock, Pop and Blues from the 1950s, ‘60s and ‘70s.
• July 15: RB Express
From soft ballads to toe-tapping, foot-stomping dance music, travel down memory lane with your favorite Doo Wop, R&B, Motown, Country and Pop from the 1950s, ‘60s and ‘70s.
• July 22: Pure Acoustic Musical Duo
This Musical Duo’s repertoire spans Classic Rock, Pop and Country from the 1970s to today.
• July 29: The Mango Men
The Mango Men close out this year’s series with the tropical sounds of Jimmy Buffet and other island favorites.

Barclay Farmstead is located at 209 Barclay Lane, Cherry Hill. Concerts are canceled in the event of rain. Music Under the Stars is supported by NFI and Republic Bank.
