Watermain Repair Work Begins Monday on Springdale Road in Cherry Hill

Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction between Justa Lane and Kresson Road for the duration of the project, which is expected to last three weeks.

New Jersey American Water Company will begin a three-week repair project on a main transmission line along Springdale Road near the Springdale Farm Market in Cherry Hill on Monday.

Repair work will necessitate 24-hour lane restriction for the duration of the project. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction between Justa Lane and Kresson Road.

“Motorists need to be aware of the construction taking place on Springdale Road over the next few weeks and plan their commutes accordingly,” Freeholder Ian Leonard, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works, said. “Whenever you are driving through a road construction zone, please stay prepared for traffic pattern changes, and be observant of posted instructions or directions from police officers.”

Significant traffic delays are expected, and drivers are asked to seek an alternate route to their destinations from March 24 through the week of April 7. There will be message boards and designated traffic management on the site.
