County Conducting Emergency Work on Haddonfield Road

The project will continue through Thursday night along the county maintained portion of the road from Chapel Avenue to Church Road.

The Camden County Department of Public Works is conducting emergency roadwork project on Haddonfield Road in Cherry Hill.

The project will continue through Thursday night along the county maintained portion of the road from Chapel Avenue to Church Road. 

The exact timing of the project is dependent upon the weather and other factors.

Drivers should be aware of the project and expect some delays around the area of construction during peak drive times.

“In order to maintain our infrastructure it is imperative for us to mill and overlay complete sections of Haddonfield Road in Cherry Hill rather than patch holes in the pavement,” Freeholder Ian Leonard, liaison to the Department of Public Works, said.  “We ask that motorists report any roadway concerns they encounter to us.  We need the public to be engaged in this effort to make Camden County a better place to live and drive throughout our 1,200 lane miles of highway.”

The Freeholder Board asks residents to report road hazards they encounter to the Camden County Public Works Hotline 856-566-2980.  The number is answered 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
