Youth Sports & Education Expo Debuts in Philly 5/31-6/1

On the weekend of May 31 and June 1 from 10-5 on Saturday and 11-5 on Sunday, the Pennsylvania Convention Center will be the site for the largest single gathering of experts, resources, interactive sports activities and information on multiple youth sports, education, health and wellness at the premiere Sports & Education Expo (www.sportseducationexpo.com). The Expo, also offering autographs with sports celebrities, exhibits, and entertainment, is designed by South Jersey sports parents and entrepreneurs for parents and children ages 5-18, youth sports professionals, and school counselors throughout the region.

The Convention Center will be abuzz with the whooshing of basketballs into nets, hockey pucks and soccer balls into goals, the casting of fishing lines, and the sounds and sights of a dozen total interactive sports being sampled, including tennis, martial arts, football, lacrosse, softball, baseball, archery, hockey, and golf. Even parents can cast a fishing line and hit golf balls.

Presenting the interactive sports activities, clinics or demos will include, among others, the PGA-Philadelphia section; and the Philadelphia sports teams: the 76ers, and Soul (professional football). Also participating, among others, are the Philadelphia Phillies, Union (major league soccer), Wings (professional lacrosse) and the Camden Riversharks (minor league NJ baseball team).
