International Students Seek Host Families

Five international students are dreaming of studying for a school year at an American high school.  They are eagerly seeking families in our area who will open their hearts and provide a bed and a plate at the dining table.  All are high achievers, have strong English skills, and come with insurance and spending money.  Ricardo (17) from Ecuador plays the electric guitar in his high school band, enjoys martial arts and wants to play soccer in  the US;  Hannes (17) from Germany plays tennis, sings in a youth choir and wants to learn football, baseball and basketball; Elena (15) from Spain loves drawing and painting as well as playing squash and volleyball; Madeline (15) from Germany loves photography and playing the clarinet – she wants to play in an orchestra or marching band and join a drama club;  Celine (15) from Germany loves gymnastics, playing the accordion, rock-climbing and dancing. All students arrive in the US in August.
