Walmart Shoplifters Used Baby to Hide Merchandise, Police Say

Cherry Hill Police arrest a Camden woman and a juvenile accomplice they say tried to steal nearly $250 worth of stuff Wednesday night.

A Camden woman and a juvenile accomplice were arrested after they tried to use a baby to help them shoplift merchandise from Walmart Wednesday night, Cherry Hill Police said.

Franchesca Marie Villanueva, of the 700 block of Sylvan Street, and a girl who was not identified because of her age were caught at the Route 38 store after they hid $248.86 worth of shoplifted items under an infant, police said.

Both Villanueva and the unidentified girl were charged with shoplifting and use of a juvenile to commit a criminal offense.

This is absolutely, completely unrelated to the article.. but what's up with the new black-and-white paint scheme for a handful of CHPD cars, and are they planning to repaint the whole department's cars or just use the new paint scheme as they replace the aging Crown Vics? :)

Yes, it's the standard look for the Chargers they're getting to replace the Crown Vics - started rolling out last summer, and you'll probably see more through the department's fleet replacement plan, since the Crown Vics are out of production now.
