Cherry Hill West Alum Found Dead in Widener Dorm

A 2011 Cherry Hill West graduate was found dead at Widener University in Chester, PA, Wednesday evening, according to university officials.

Ray Bailey, a sophomore at the university, was found in his dorm room, and there were no signs of foul play, university officials said. Police advised them there was no danger to other students on the campus, officials said.

No cause of death was immediately released.

Bailey, a former quarterback for Cherry Hill West, was a political science major and a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity.

"Our hearts and prayers are with his family at this difficult time," university officials wrote in a statement emailed to students late Wednesday night.
